Placing your first wholesale coffee order can feel like a big step — but it is actually straightforward once you know what to expect. This guide walks you through the entire process, from initial enquiry to receiving your first delivery.
Step 1: Submit a wholesale enquiry
Start by submitting an enquiry through our wholesale page. Tell us about your business, estimated volumes, and whether you want branded or unbranded coffee. The more detail you provide, the faster we can prepare a tailored quote.
Step 2: Receive your quote
Within 24 hours, our team will respond with pricing based on your volume, bag sizes, and branding requirements. We will also suggest roast profiles based on your use case — whether you are serving espresso in a café, filter in an office, or selling retail bags online.
Step 3: Sample and taste
Before you commit to a full order, we will send you samples of the roast profiles we have recommended. Taste them across your intended brewing methods. Share them with your team. Make sure you love what you are selling.
Not sure what to look for? Our guide to choosing a wholesale supplier covers the key quality indicators.
Step 4: Confirm your order
Once you have selected your coffee, confirm your order details:
Roast profile(s) and quantities.
Bag size (250g, 500g, 1kg).
Branding — if custom-labelled, provide your artwork or use our design tools.
Delivery address and preferred delivery schedule.
Step 5: Production and delivery
We roast your coffee fresh, apply your labels (if applicable), and ship within our standard lead time. Typical delivery is 5 – 7 working days from order confirmation.
Step 6: Reorder and scale
After your first order, reordering is simple. Many customers set up recurring orders on a weekly or monthly cadence so they never run out. As your volumes increase, your per-unit pricing decreases — better margins as you scale.
Tips for a smooth first order
Order slightly more than you think you need — running out is worse than having a small surplus.
Start with one or two products and expand once you understand what sells.
Communicate any branding deadlines early so we can prioritise your label production.
